Rob qualified from Liverpool University in 1997 and began his dental career as a General Dental Practitioner in Blackburn. He spent 8 years in Blackburn working both in general practice as an associate and at Blackburn Royal Infirmary as a part-time Clinical Assistant in both orthodontics and restorative dentistry. His interest in implant dentistry began at Blackburn Royal where he worked with the Restorative Consultant restoring implants placed by the Maxillofacial Surgery Department.

In 2005 Rob purchased Inglewood House Dental Practice with his wife and brother and they now run a mixed NHS and private practice in Whitefield, Manchester offering implants, orthodontics and general dentistry.

In 2007 Rob completed the 1-year Multi-System Dental Implantology Certificate Course at Trafford General Hospital before completing the Diploma in Implant Dentistry at Salford University and the MJDF at the Royal College of Surgeons in 2010.

Rob is a member of the ITI and ADI and since completing his diploma has lectured for Straumann on a regular basis and has presented at the ADI National Forum.

Rob enjoys Mentoring and believes it is an important way for a dentist to develop their implant dentistry skills. He has been a Mentee and now a Mentor and looks forward to working with Straumann and The Colin Campbell Academy to provide a Mentor scheme that works to develop clinical skills in implant dentistry.
